Itinerary

Day 1

Yangon Arrival and Sightseeing (Lunch, Dinner)

Arrive at Yangon International Airport, welcome by our tour guide and transfer to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel and lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, our tour starts at Chauk-htat-gyi Pagoda: a huge image of 66 meters long reclining Buddha Image in Myanmar. It is generally referred to as a six-tiered pagoda. Then continues to Sule Pagoda, located in the heart of downtown, is just one stupa and a stunning key city landmark. Then you will see the City Hall and the Independence Monument is standing in the middle of Mahabandoola Park. Next visit to the most magnificent religious monument of the country, Shwedagon Pagoda, one of Myanmar’s most sacred places. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight at hotel in Yangon.

 

Day 2

Yangon-Kyaikhtiyo (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

After breakfast at the hotel, head to Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda, 210 km from the city of Yangon. Along the way, visit Htauk Kyant War Memorial Cemetery. On arrive at Bago, visit Kya Khat Wine Monastery where one can witness the hundred of student monks having their lunch under the Buddha disciplines. You can also learn about the daily life of monks. Lunch at the local restaurant and proceed to Kyaikhtiyo ( Golden Rock ). Arrive at Kinpun Base Camp, travel with a public open truck to the top of the Mt.Kyaikhtiyo. Golden Rock is a massive boulder covered by gold leaf. Balancing on the edge of the cliff and according to the legend, hold a Buddha’s hair. Visit around Golden Rock and then dinner and overnight at the hotel in Kyaikhtiyo.

 

Day 3

Kyaikhtiyo-Bago-Yangon (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

After breakfast, drive back to Yangon. On the way, visit Bago which is situated about 80 km from the north-east of Yangon. Arrive at Bago and go ahead to Shwemawdaw Pagoda- the tallest pagoda in Myanmar. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch visit Kanbawzathadi Golden Palace shows the splendor and wealth of the second Burmese empire. Continues to Shwethalyaung Pagoda- 55 meters reclining Buddha. After that, explore the Mons’ village, which produced woven textiles and Cheroot Making Home Cottage Industry. The way of back, Four gigantic Buddha Images are also known as Kyaik Pun Pagoda. Evening return to Yangon. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight at hotel in Yangon.

 

Day 4

Yangon-Thanlyin Sightseeing (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

After breakfast at the hotel, starts sightseeing to the east of Yangon is the town of Thanlyin(Syriam), visit the Ancient Portuguese Church was built the Italian-style church in the 1500s and local market in Thanlyin. Proceed to Kyauktan, Kyaik Mhaw Wun Ye Le Pagoda ( A floating pagoda which is pagoda on a small island in the middle of the river ). Then drive back to Yangon and lunch at a local restaurant. Continues to Bogyoke Aung San Market used to call Scott Market- a shopping market with more than 2000 shops selling all kinds of products like lacquerware, gems, Myanmar traditional arts & crafts and souvenirs, clothes, art galleries, antique. It gives the best local experience. Notice: Be aware of the market is closed every Monday and gazette holiday. The evening takes a walk to ChinaTown where we can see the many vendors along the sidewalk. You can buy many varieties of Myanmar products and taste Street Food. Dinner at a local restaurant and stay overnight at a hotel in Yangon.

 

Day 5

Departure For Home (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast at the hotel, our guide will pick you up at the hotel and transfer to the airport. On the way, drive to Kaba Aye Pagoda means World Peace Pagoda, a different structure from the other pagodas. Then proceed to Maha Pasana Cave, where the sixth Buddhist synod took place. Lunch at a local restaurant and then accompany you to the airport for your departure.
