Itinerary

Day 1

Myawaddy Arrival and Myawaddy-Hpa An by Car (Lunch, Dinner)

Arrive at Myawaddy border point, welcome by our tour guide and driver with private air-conditioned vehicle. Before we go to Hpa-An, have lunch at a local restaurant. After that, head to Hpa-An driving about 4 hours. Check-in at the hotel and take some time to rest at the hotel. Visit Hpa-An Night Market and you can see the beautiful lake, Kantharyar. Dinner at the local restaurant and overnight in Hpa-An.

Day 2

Hpa An Sightseeing (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

After breakfast at the hotel, start sightseeing at Kyauk Ka Lat Pagoda, Buddha stupa on the top of the limestone pinnacle, which is situated in the middle of the lake. And then, Mount Zwegabin, Lumbini Garden with over 1000 Buddha statues. At lunchtime, we try the local cuisine at the native restaurant. Continue to Bayin Nyi Cave across the paddy fields. In front of the limestone cave, there is a small hot spring pool. In this cave, lots of various colored statues can be explored. Another cave called Sadan Cave, which is a massive cave, you can walk through to the other side. The boat ride by a wooden boat at the end to reach in front of the cave. In the evening, Shwe Yin Myaw Pagoda is located on the riverbank of the Thanlwin River. Enjoy the beautiful sunset and a panoramic view of the Thanlwin River at Shwe Yin Myaw Pagoda. Before going to the hotel, have dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Hpa-An.

Day 3

Hpa An-Mawlamyine by Car (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

In the morning, after breakfast at the hotel, check out from the hotel. Then drive to the Death Railway Museum for about 3 hours. 

In World War II, over 100,000 prisoners of war including many laborers from Myanmar died constructing the railway of 415km long line from Myanmar to Thailand. In the museum, you can explore history with a collection of photos and take photos with dramatic 3D painting. On the outside of the Museum building, they show a train track and the original locomotive head. Before visit Kyaikkhami Yele Pagoda, go to the local restaurant for having lunch. After lunch, visit Kyaikkhami Yele Pagoda, also a popular destination for local pilgrims. Buddha Images are on the edge of the reef and connected with the corridor to the mainland. You can feed the massive fish on the foot of the pagoda in the sea. Continue to Mawlamyine, dinner at a local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Mawlamyine.

Day 4

Mawlamyine Sightseeing (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

In the morning, after breakfast at the hotel, our tour starts at 7:30 am. Driving to Bilu Island passing through the bridge links with the mainland. A beautiful large island with over 70 villages, Ogre Island is also called Bilu Island. Arrival on Bilu Island, discovering in their cottage industries such as rubber band making, slate tablets workshop, production of various handicrafts, etc. One of the famous villages in Island, Ywalut Village, which is famous for making smoking pipes. Before having lunch, driving back to Mawlamyine for about 45 minutes. Lunch at the local restaurant. And then, the world’s largest reclining Buddha is located at Win Sein TawYa Monestry. The reclining buddha is 180 meters in length and 30 meters in height. Inside the massive Buddha, there are many chambers showing the diorama of Buddhist teachings. You can learn about not only the life of Buddha but also scenes from Buddhist hell. In the evening, enjoy your sunset from a vantage point of the Kyaikthanlan Pagoda. The great panoramic view can be seen over the whole town. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Mawlamyine.

Day 5

Mawlamyine-Kyaikhtiyo by Car and Kyaikhtiyo Sightseeing (B, L, D)

In the morning, after breakfast at the hotel, check out from the hotel. proceed to Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock). Arrive after driving about 3 hours and 30 minutes, reach the Kinpun Base camp of the Golden Rock and take the public truck to the top of the hill. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Kyaikhtiyo.

Day 6

Kyaikhtiyo-Bago-Yangon (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast, drive back to Bago which is situated about 80 km north-east of Yangon. Arrive at Bago and proceed to Shwemawdaw Pagoda – the highest pagoda in Myanmar. Lunch at Local restaurant. After lunch visit Kanbawzathadi Palace, Shwethalyaung Pagoda – a 55 meters long reclining Buddha; Mons’ weaving village, and Cheroot Making Home Cottage Industry. On the way back to Yangon, visit Kyaikpon Four gigantic Buddha Images. And then proceed to Yangon driving about 2 hours.
